I keep reading about this magic formula called Soltron, But have been
unable to find a supplier in Cornwall, does anyone in the area know
of anywhere? or a address where to get it mail order,
many thanks
mike

Mike - you can get it mail order from Humber Cruising Association - I,ve got their address & number at home - PM me if you want it.

Internet supplier...

I bought mine over the net from <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.bluesports.co.uk/acatalog/BlueSports_Marine_Tools_11.html>C J Evans</A> in Poole. Quick efficient service.

Like many people, I was sceptical of the claims made for Soltron, however I'm starting to be persuaded that it's very good indeed. Still too early to say for sure, but I think it's sorting out my diesel bug problem.

Thanks everyone
do not have any problems, want to keep it that way,
never thought about doing a search on the computor for it,must be my age!
Read somewhere recently about a test with 15 diesol cars which had failed
the emission test, then treated with Soltron most went on to pass a further
test, Having a diesol car myself, never look forward to the emissions test,
so will put some in that as well, Being a bit of a sceptic will have to wait
and see.If it keeps the smoke down it will be money well spent.
All the horror stories on here and other places about the dreaded bug, boats
breaking down mid channel with clogged filters etc.enough to give you
nightmares, Never had any problems with it myself, touching wood,But the again
Ido change the filters regulary and flush the tank every year then refill with
clean fuel for the winter. Is the bug something that starts in your own tank
or is it something that you can introduce to it i.e buy it in?
enough of my ramblings,
all the best
mike

BOTH.

Dom

I am boating again ;-)

As I thought Dom,
sounds to me something that would thrive on low use or neglect.
cheers mike
