I am looking at a macwester wight mk11 in France and just wondering if anyone has any info on them.
How well do they sail?
What disadvantages do they have?
What advantages do the have?
Any other info on them and i will be happy to hear.

Westerly are probably not the best people to contact... what with it not being a Westerly an' all!

My folks had one when I was a younger (going back 17 years), and I remember it as a solid boat, albeit not exactly high performance, probably largely due to the weight and triple keel configuration.

Personally, I wouldn't want to use one for ocean crossing, but as a liveaboard I can see no reason why not.
