I am using Maptech with GPSNavx but not MacENC yet.
However I understand you can down load some vector charts.
There must be relevant info on the GPSNavX website.
Thanks for that Dave. I was using Maptech charts on my PC laptop. I wondered if there was any way to buy charts I might also be able to use in a plotter. I have a little 276C Garmin at the mo, but want to upgrade to something bigger (not Garmin) later. Obviously being able to use the charts for both the Mac and the yet to be specified plotter is an advantage.
I use Navionics S57 charts - purchased on-line from http://www.chartworld.com They are vector charts, and display reasonably well, though there are a few anomalies in how MacENC renders them - nothing major though. I remember the on-line purchase being a bit tricky as the Chartworld site is not exactly user friendly, but the support from both Chartworld and MacENC was excellent.
