Lymington with kids.

I am spending the night at Lymington soon and on board I will have two small children. I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion of where would be a good venue for dinner. I was thinking of somewhere with a garden possibly or a play area. Now I know that this will sound like hell to most of you but I would appreciate your input. Otherwise it is off to the curry house. Ta in advance.

Dont think there's anything with a playground. The Ship Inn by the Town Quay is a "Harvester" or "Brewers Fayre" or similar, and therefore has a Charlie Chalk menu

Alex,
Mayflower Inn near Yacht Haven is brilliant and has a nice garden with plenty of room for kids to run round. Don't remember any swings etc.
By the way, food is superb. Enjoy

There's a nice park with playground on the road between Town Quay and the Yacht Club. Do that first and wear em out. I've even enacted England V Sri Lanka there before departing for Cherbourg. Sad isn't it?

Thanks, I'll go look for it! I only ever went to the Mayflower once, after a tiring trip back from St Peter Port. Normally my crew demands I take him to the flesh pots of Town Quay!!
