Luxury Thames boating

Apologies for the post - was up early and having fun! On balance a picture of my breakfast may not be that interesting for the forum. :o

I have no problem with you posting a picture of your breakfast but I do feel that referring to it as "Luxury Thames Boating" is dubious, to say the least. In fact, you could be accused of creating a misleading impression likely to bring Thames boating into disrepute - imagine, if that is "luxury" how awful is normal or basic Thames boating?

Come on Moxie - a full english needs a couple of fried eggs, mushrooms, hash browns, black pudding (if you must) and fried bread all presented on a nice china plate with decent cutlery, . not a tin of Heinz baked beans with sausages, a couple of cherry tomatoes and a plastic spoon.

For God's sake man, get a grip ! :D

Dear B1

There was egg and mushroom in there but I fear the full details may be too distressing for you. Suggest you squint at this picture before deciding to give it a full look:

They taste better than they sound CB! Get down to radcott tomorrow morning ( for am currently moored there) and I'll prove it :-)

Farmers are working hard tonight, still hard at it now and keep going over the bridge with bails (sp?) on tractor tailors.

Sorry to miss you. Was up in the big smoke spending £4.20 on a cappuccino. Ouch.

Sorry to miss you too. We went to the Swan but they had grumpy staff and large signs saying 'cash only - no cards'. So the boy and I enjoyed tinned dinner and tinned breakfast on the boat. Plus packets of Melba Toast and a tiny pot of strawberry jam liberated from the last hotel I stayed in with tiny pots of s.j.

He keeps telling people about the toast and 'tiny jam' as if he'd never had jam before. Great times :-)
