Lucas alternator

There should be a name plate on the back of it, where all the wires conect up.

Failing that if it's the original, then the engine specification may provide the details.

If it is a genuine Lucas there will be a plate on it giving the details you require. A popular Lucas alternator on small craft is the Lucas A1271255. This provides 55 amp output at about 5000 rpm dropping to about 40 amp at 2000 rpm. (This is rpm of alternator).
