I purchased this just before xmas 2022. My previous radio has failed and I wanted a larger unit to fill the hole since most radios are slightly smaller and rear mounted, hence this model.
Since then I have re-designed the dashboard and this is no longer suitable for my needs. It's hardly been used and is in excellent condition.
Lowrance Link-9 (Also sold as Simrad RS40) - these retail for about £500.
Built in GPS & AIS (receive only)
Sun cover
Front or rear mounted microphone.
Dashboard clip for microphone.
MMSI has been reset (See pics)
Front mounted into dash with bezel to cover screws.
NMEA2000 & NMEA 0183
The AIS data is shared with your chart plotter (see pic from chart plotter). Radio only receives AIS, it does not transmit AIS data.
Only needs a VHF aerial to be connected, GPS is built in.
Also comes with Trunnion mount.
Cutout needed is about 75mm x 180mm
Radio comes with 2 year warranty, so about 16 months remaining. I will provide the original receipts from Hudson Marine.
Unit has been factory reset - you can enter your own MMSI when setting up.
