Hi, I notice that there is a December update for the Lowrance 3500C chartplotter available fronm the Lowrance website. This may be of interest to some of our Forumites. Ian

Just did it. First observations:

The good news...they seem to have fixed the problem with tidal data corruption on Navionics charts on three data-point days.

Not known as yet...do the DST / GMT bug fixes work in tides and current?

The bad news...the fathom / metre problem on the tidal "T" pop-up is still there /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

So it seems I'll still have to make a nuisance of myself on their LBS stand...

PS - just noticed that undefined lights (eg. fixed red) show up as little lighthouses now on Navionics charts. I'm sure this is different...and adds a little to the clutter. On the other hand, they are much more obvious now! Does anyone know if the NauticPath charts have any updates? The info is at least 2-years old now and probably more.
