Want to know the speed ? Screenshot taken yesterday, they were going Quiberon/Groix back and forth.

The acceleration was as mind boggling as the speed. Those shots were fired consecutively, as fast as I could trigger the shutter. They went from a standing start, while I plucked the camera off the bench beside me, to taxiing as I raised it, to full flight whilst I got those 3 shots off. Then they were gone….

He heading for his home from home; MerConcept in Concarneau, on a Friday evening. Stargazer seeking shelter in Port La Foret, to ride out what's billed to be three days of high winds and thunderstorms, this weekend. Sam was going like the clappers. His chase boat had to 'cut the corner,' astern of us, to catch him up!

The Ultims are coming to Cowes, to join the Fastnet…..Four of those shredding the Solent, next Saturday (26th) should be a spectacular sight!
Don’t know where they are parking up before the start….French side or English (@40kts Cherbourg is only an hour and a half from the start line)…..any sightings?

You certainly had some solid breeze! Even the Glenan school boats stayed in port….
