Lovely overnight anchorage

Along with my son and his family in their T46 on Friday evening. Not many boats anchor here.

I expect a few people will recognise the place
And this is us upping anchor the next morning

Booked ashore, couldn't get away last week, work issues now waiting for these low pressure systems to blow through.

A few more pics from our night in Salcombe, a big Feadship passed by, can’t imagine many more boats larger than 30m cross the bar


It was busy but not rammed, but plenty of activity afloat with lots of dinghy racing.

Hi Bart, yes it’s certainly unusual to see other mobos at anchor.
When we bought Eos many years ago I asked the then owner how the windlass worked and he shrugged his shoulders and said no idea, I’ve never used it! In his 4 years of ownership he only ever went from ones marina to another.
I have probably hundreds of pics of us in various anchorages. You might recognise some of these

Hint.. lots of puffins and seals there, surrounded by them in the anchorage later

Strangely enough that’s where we first anchored in Eos about 14 years ago.
And your spelling is correct
