If that's the Broom I'm thinking of then it's registered for 2016 so tracing the owner is simple. Val Wyatt can call the EA boat reg team on 03708 506 506 and pass on a message. I don't do facebook but one of the forumites could tell VW.

I'd hate being parted from my boat.

By a very strange co-incidence I was chatting to the guys at Penton Hook Boat sales yesterday about strange boat names and one of them mentioned this particular boat!! They obviously knew the owner, so a call to them might do the trick?

Not the same boat. There was a Broom 35 moored in Penton for some time with the same name phonetically but spelt differently.
