Since the new layout and migration of this forum, I have been unable to login with my old ID and password and have had to set up a new name and password to access. I'd much rather continue with my old name and details. How can I contact the forum manager and get it restored?

Something similar happened to me a while ago but, being unable to log-in, I could not ask anyone to do anything about it!!

In the end, I simply rejoined with a new username. There didn't seem to be any alternative.

Then, having regained access to the forum, I was surprised to find that my previous username was still on the books but, as I don't use it and have no need to use it, I don't see it as a problem.

Although I occasionally get accused of double-posting, I never have. What would be the point?

To me, double-posting seems as futile as putting people on ignore.

If your user ID is still valid you should be able to request a new ( temporary) pasword but it will sent to the email address which the system holds for you. If you have changed your email address and not registered your new address you have stuffed it.

Happened to me as well a couple of years ago so new name although very similar. When the forum changed a few days ago, I stopped receiving mails and it turned out GMail was putting YBW into junk folder.
