Losing more Lockkeepers - just in time for the new season

A grumble ............................
If you are not queing to go into the lock or have buggered off and left yer boat/barge for whatever reason.
Can you please leave it at the far end of the lock laybye and not moor it with a tiny gap between you and the lock gate.
............and it is polite not to moor you boat in the middle of the layby leaving several other boats jiggling about midstream while waiting for the lock to open.

Not a grumble at all makes perfect sense.

I often moor just below Molesey for a pee and ice cream !

I have to moor at lock as there are no other places now … but I always try and moor at end and often facing downstream to show I’m not going through
