Anyone know where I can buy one that will do up to 7mm? Have tried a search on 'Google' - that only brings up one design class set ups for rigs.

Mail Order will do.

Thanks

Donald

The Loos tensioner comes in two sizes; one up to 6mm and the bigger one from 7mm up to ??.

You can get these from most mail order chandelers ....... try Jimmy Green Marine I think they had them at one time.

It's a good piece of kit and enables regular checking of the rig tension in a couple of minutes. However the smaller one cost me 120 Euro a few months ago !!!!But I shared the cost with some other owners nearby and we just 'borrow' the gauge when we need it.

I saw them in Bosun's Locker (Port Edgar) the other day. Bloody expensive - and wasn't there a thread somewhere questioning the consistency of them?

They have the same type for sale in Largs - but the quality is nowhere the same as the 'Loos' guage which I have used in the past.
