It is actually Cadburys Dairy Milk brown like all Bavarias of that era. Changed to white when Farr started designing for them.
Normal in the Med because you can get more boats in and there are no tides to worry about. You soon get used to it and boats are designed to be boarded that way rather than climbing over the side.
Gauge says 1400 hours, but to be honest I have no idea if that is accurate, she started and ran well without any smoke, black bits or funny noises - so it may be right.
I became besotted with cruising boats at the age of 4 on my parents Kingfisher 20+ ... that's the beauty of boating, there's enjoyment at every budget.
Thank you. I had spent my weekend looking at ex-charter boats from 2012-2018 .... this boat was a revelation. I have definitely found my dream boat I think, just got to get through the survey and then it's a few nautical miles down the coast to her new home. For me it hits the sweet spot between traditional and modern, it's light inside, lots of windows, but the woodwork is gorgeous, and it's got a proper chart table which I had resigned myself to never finding again - I loved the one on my Bav 36.
