Spot on, give that man a virtual beer. .... a nice little flat with a sea view I can change at will. .... and it's not too shabby either, despite its age.Bavaria MedSunBeer Sailer
I wish I had the money for one, but that isn't what I'd buy.I wish
Looks lovely. Has the engine even been used???Spot on, give that man a virtual beer. .... a nice little flat with a sea view I can change at will. .... and it's not too shabby either, despite its age.
Wasn't looking for a boat this old (2008) but as soon as I got on board it was like stepping into a time-warp.
One of the most fastidious owners I have ever come across - it was sold by the time I reached the bottom of the companionway steps ... and I was the first to view it.
... and it's got a lead keel.

It is actually Cadburys Dairy Milk brown like all Bavarias of that era. Changed to white when Farr started designing for them. She looks an absolute delight. Its obvious why you quickly became besotted.
One question - bilges were always white - this one is salmon pink - is that normal?
Jonathan
Normal in the Med because you can get more boats in and there are no tides to worry about. You soon get used to it and boats are designed to be boarded that way rather than climbing over the side.Looks lovely, well beyond my pay grade.
That mooring arrangement and gang plank look awkward, I much prefer UK finger pontoons.
Gauge says 1400 hours, but to be honest I have no idea if that is accurate, she started and ran well without any smoke, black bits or funny noises - so it may be right.Looks lovely. Has the engine even been used???
I became besotted with cruising boats at the age of 4 on my parents Kingfisher 20+ ... that's the beauty of boating, there's enjoyment at every budget.Looks lovely, well beyond my pay grade.

Thank you. I had spent my weekend looking at ex-charter boats from 2012-2018 .... this boat was a revelation. I have definitely found my dream boat I think, just got to get through the survey and then it's a few nautical miles down the coast to her new home. For me it hits the sweet spot between traditional and modern, it's light inside, lots of windows, but the woodwork is gorgeous, and it's got a proper chart table which I had resigned myself to never finding again - I loved the one on my Bav 36.Well done. Rare beast and arguably the best boat Bavaria made although arguably the earlier Ocean 40 runs it close.
Easy enough. Just call the Professor .,just got to get through the survey
