It’s Empuriabrava, Costa Brava. Just where the Pyrenees dips it’s toe in the sea. Its a massive canal complex of 5000 moorings but as in the pic you are only aware of your little bit.
UNTIL AUGUST !!! where it’s a traffic jam of boats.
Rest of the year is fine and with a resident population it doesn’t die in the winter like some marinas.
There are prittier secluded bits with lovely homes (not mine)

Ah. In my pre boat days I had a camper and holidayed in Colluire and Banyuls (spelling!) in France which must be very close to you. Some authentic Spain there in places like Figures. I very much liked the area.

edit: apologies to @Neil22 this is spectacular thread drift!!

Why didn’t you tell me all this before I got into penury ?‍♂️?

As somebody clutching some stone tablets once uttered ,
A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.” :):):)
and also sayeth " Avoideth those false god outdrives, that way only lies the path to woe and penury and long periods ashore !"

As far as berthing and mooring are concerned, along with many others, I very much love watching boats and crews entering and leaving berths. Apart from the odd amusing event, I often learn something which may come in handy for us with either the rib or the P415 that we have. Every day is a school day after all.
I always offer assistance with neighbouring boats when they return and vice versa.
