Looking for replacement YSM 8 head

Hi Forumites

I've had our head removed to discover a hairline crack in it.

Does anyone have an old/recon/spare they'd be willing to sell/part with.

Always swore I'd replace the engine at this point but 35 years on an the mechanic says the block/bore I'd in great shape!

Is it a crack or an erosion?

Might be worth using crack detector aerosols.

My YSM8 took a skim (with the combustion chamber stuck in place, si it got a shave too) and was ok -
