Evening all,

I,m trying to trace information on a catamaran that sailed the east coast quite a while back. It was a prout 35 by the name of macavity.
I know its a long shot and not even sure if she,s still afloat. Nothing sinister just one of the previous owners will be 96 next month and I,m trying to put a bit of a collection together.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Richard.

I passed a cat with that name heading SW in the Wallet maybe 3-4 years ago. I don't know the type but could have been about 35'. It stuck in my mind as it was in light airs and I was struggling to maintain way on stbd and this guy was on port fiddling with a spinny and not looking where he was going.....
Saw him again several days later in the Swin, he was heading back NE so could be based Orwell or Deben way maybe?

He's the bafflement of Scotland Yard, the Flying Squad's despair:
For when they reach the scene of crime—Macavity's not there! (TS Eliot)

I couldn't resist that - I'll get my coat.
