Long tow by RNLI

A 14m workboat which ran aground outside Helmsdale harbour was towed by first the Wick lifeboat and then the Scrabster lifeboat for about 60 miles all the way from Helmsdale to Scrabster yesterday. A long day for the lifeboat crew.

I wonder if a yacht would get the same treatment or if working & fishing boats are chums ?

The tow took about 12 hours after the initial rescue was completed!
