About this time last year, someone posted a view on the weather prospects for the entire upcoming summer.

Anyone prepared to have a shot at this year? If I remember correctly, last years was fairly accurate.

I agree with Pauline, it is going to be a long hot summer, the heat will really start at the beginning of May (bank holiday) we will have a freak cold spell end of may early june and then its nice tans all the way through to September.

Sadly another poor year in the uk, with a short break of ten days sun in early August. It will be grim over all the bank holidays and I also predict that some of the clouds will seem fluffy.

<font color=blue>The sun will come out on one day in June and the water companies will place a hosepipe ban.

Since I've just moved my boat to the Med mainly due to the lousy Brit weather I have no hesitation in forecasting a long hot summer here in the UK
