Long term rentals

I will be starting a new job in Swindon shortly and am thinking about renting a houseboat (for 1) for 6 months within an hour's drive of Swindon.

Any advice, please?

Where would I find one for rent?

Welcome to the forum. Quick response is not a chance. Liveaboard boats on the inland waterways are at a premium particularly in the south east primarily because of the shortage of residential moorings.
