The MBM team has been at the show today with cameras in hand.

We'll be updating the gallery as the show progresses but here's a few images to be getting on with.

MBM London boat show gallery

We also had a sneak preview on the new Princess 52, due an official launch on Monday, and you can see a gallery of photos Here.

The team has also been hunting out the best deals and competitions at the show which can be found Here. Make sure you keep checking back as the list will be updated as the show continues.

If anyone wants to see a gallery of any particular new boat at the show, or any other images from the show, let me know and we'll do our best to oblige.

Why has that Disc Jocky C E got into boating ?

Because he spends most of the time on TV & radio going I...I....I...I..., now he can add to that in his free time & go Aye....Aye.....Aye.... Aye...:D

Hi Neale - Many thanks for sharing this with us ;)

We went today. We thought it was really well laid out & plenty there to interest everyone from power to sail. Some cars & bits but in the correct places unlike last year. Its all in one hall this year but that hall is actually 50% bigger than it used to be, so still a very good sized show. We actually don't need anything but still manged to spend a few hundred quid on clothing & another remote control to add to our collection, this one for the air con :D
I am very pleased to say it also seemed busy & everyone we spoke to was doing good trade, including Richard Shead :) Overall very impressed & a bloody good day out, especially with free tickets of which I still have two available for a good home :D

Agreed 100%. :)

Just got in from LiBs and we had a great day out just looking around and comparing the various boats we aspire to. Loads to see; very busy but not uncomfortably so; everything seemed well laid out. Just all in all a really lovely and relaxing day which was also quite constructive for us boat wise. Oh and a 'big up' for the staff at both Sealine and Fairline who were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Really enjoyed it and worth every penny imo.
L
:)

Good show if you want to look at fairline, sunseeker or princess ( new 52 is worth a look - very tasty) some smaller stuff there too but not much. Sessa have a big stand. Had a catch up with the MOA, sorted out ( I think) some boating for next year and had a lunch sat a table with virtually no-one else around.

Good to catch up with some other from here, but blooming glad I didn't pay to get in

Princess 52 is what I want to see great alterative imho to the 54 which is a fab boat. Got my eye on the one at the end off my pontoon ;)

I have never paid in over 15 years to go to any trade show and never would

The walnut interior is simply sublime. Love the gley at the back and the mid cabin is very comfy - feels bigger than the 52 badge suggests. Only thing j didn't like (which seemed to be on all the princess mods) was the helm to either side with the navigator unable to get out unless the helm gets up as well

Love the walnut finish looks very classy imho - Mid cabin windows something to die for but the flybridge helm position is now located on the wrong side - why the change is it another eu directive

Went today, this has to be the first boat show anywhere I have attended that my list of "buys" was not available to take away (mind you I didn't want a chavpool, wine, massager etc) only one proper ship there to look at and despite it only being a twenty minute drive will not go again though we have gone to every Excel so far. Met some friends and visited some of my distrubuters which was useful but even then some were notable in their absence, very quiet in the morning and only seemed busy later because it was the size of a phone box. Verdict? very poor but perhaps my requirements are different from others, I like a boat show to have relevent stuff to buy, a spread of boats to look at and stuff, wait a munute itn't that what most people want?.

keep seeing posts regarding people getting in for free but i can't find any free ticket offers where do look or do you need to be in the know nod nod wink wink

Hi Shaun - it is all down to networking I am afraid and you know who . ps i think JFM got a free invite with the purchase off Match2. Would have saved him a fortune to buy a ticket imho :D Try Sealine for SBS ;)

But to be fair, it's not a trade show. Sure there'll be a good number of marine folk talking shop behind their stands, but I thought it's raison d'être was to entice Joe public through the doors, and to prise his wallet apart.

Boat show tickets - what's the big deal?

Is it me being a dick, but, there's this big debate every time Libs and Sibs comes round about how so and so got free tickets from wherever, and someone else won't be going this year because they couldn't get their usual pair of free tickets, and this bloke in the pub's got discounted ones etc etc.

To me it seems that many people are a bit precious about forking out what is often less than a fraction of one percent of their annual boat spend on show tickets.

Just my perception of it all!
