Hi all, I am new to the forum and am seeking some help re. the following here in Australia.
I have a problem with a Lombardini JMT 194 160hp CRD marine engine, bought this engine some years back brand new but out of warranty, it has only 6 hours on it because of a problem whereas it just shuts down without warning and wont start again because of the fuel feed pump being shut down by the ECU.
We have three different auto electricians look at the engine but they have been unable to commute with the ECU because it requires a dedicated Lombardini 3 pin marine diagnostic tool to access the ECU.
Anyone have one of these engines with a similar problem ? or might know where we can purchase one of these diagnostic tools, none available here in Aus. or anywhere on the net that we can find.
Any help would be much appreciated.
