Lofrans Trouble

I have a Lofrans Windlass similar to the "Marlin" model that I found on the Lofrans website. The motor works (which I have removed) but the gearbox is siezed. I have loosened the 4 retaining nuts below deck but cannot manage to dislocate the gearbox from the shaft that operates the gypsy - this despite employing a 3 leg puller with the legs on the top of the gearbox and the drive on the bottom end of the shaft. I have a GRP deck and cannot risk applying heat. Anyone come across this and got any ideas what I can do about this?

Thanks for the tip - I have posted it - took me 3 goes to get it to go though! Don't know why.
