Brightlingsea Harbour Tier 2 OPRC Exercise
Please be advised that Brightlingsea Harbour along with Tier 2 responder Adler & Allan will be conducting an oil spill exercise in the vicinity of Brightlingsea Sailing Club and Fieldgate Dock on Thursday 16th January 2025. The exercise will be in conjunction with the MCA, Marine Police, Natural England, Environment Agency, TDC Emergency Planning Team and IFCA. The exercise will commence at 1100 and will be complete by 1600. All operations will be conducted on VHF 68 prefixed with “exercise”.

Thank you for an almost personal notification. Looks nice there in the photo.

High tide 1340 4.87m so not particularly high, Starred incident location will probably be adry except from about 1200 - 1500 Well out of anyone's way. A couple of places to watch. Might be able to see some of the activity on the BSC webcam.
