List of places to moor up on the thames.

Nice places Windsor to Tedders:

Laleham. Little mooring on LH side downstream. Quiet and pretty.

Hampton Court Palace: Right outside!!

Desborough Island

All free...:)

Laleham is lovely. We used to take the kids there for the day. Laze about, eat and kayak. Peace...

Have to put the others on the list.. :D

You also have West India but not normally open for passing boaters and right down the bottom Gallions, which we have yet to visit.
Below that there is the odd yacht club but no casual mooring and next stop is going to be ......................................The Medway or round up to the Crouch.

Awesome, great pics, thank you! I actually walked down to Limehouse and had a wander round yesterday, looked very empty, I'm guessing because of the Olympics as last time I asked about space they said they didn't have any!

In a emergency.................

Very much doubt any marina will turn you away if you are outside, but would not rely on it.The prospect 0f being moored against some gunky rubbish barge all night in the middle of the Thames is not a happy one.
