Thought I might just bump this thread... any suggestions to keep the list current? (I've updated it with Voyaging Yachts)

Hope not! At least our yards seem to be faring better than Sweden...

Problem with GRP yachts is they last forever. The only companies which will always do well are the mass production factories, because they're built to fail...

Might need to delete Northshore before too long.

I'm not so sure. If you read the story from the recent meeting it looks pretty clear that there will be minimum disruption to the yachtbuilding (assuming anyone orders from them...) since the molds, IP and premises are all still owned by another company. The only real question is what the name of the new company will be but since they changed it recently I'm guessing that was to clear the way to use the Northshore name again?

Some others

Updated 7.5.2013 - still trying to keep it current; any further suggestions?

Salterns Boats - http://www.salternsboats.com Memory 19 and Tela daysailers and Wagtail dinghy.

Neil Thompson Boats - http://www.neilthompsonboats.co.uk The Norfolk range from 12' to 65' - Urchin, Oyster, Gypsy, Smuggler (glassfibre) and Trader (steel)

Character Boats - http://www.characterboats.co.uk Dinghies and daysailers from 12' 6" to 17' 6"

Think you are selling Swallow Boats a little short. As well as the Bay Cruisers, they offer a range of dinghies and daysailers including the water ballasted Bay Raiders (rave reviews in US as well as UK) and Storms.
