I am looking for information about Linea Rossa srl, an Italian boat yard, maybe in the area of Fano, which existed briefly around 2007-2009. Apparently they only built one boat, a 58 Sparrow, before one of the owners became ill and died. I think the two founders / owners were somehow connected to Pershing and Azimut. The internet yields almost nothing. Any help gratefully received.

Sorry but I'm unable to help.
I appreciate your assumption that as an Italian, and not exactly a newbie to the nautical world, I should know something about just about every builder.
But believe it or not, occasionally I still hear of some one hit wonder Italian boatbuilders I never heard before, and this happens to be one of them!
In fact, the thread is making me curious to see if anyone knows better.
@PowerYachtBlog, maybe?

Actually, it seems it did - just check out this webpage, for instance.
Though that's one of just a handful of recurrences Google came up with, all pointing to the same boat.
So, I think I was fair when I called it a one hit wonder... :unsure:

Two small leads that you may or may not already know:
The following listing mentions that the 58 Sparrow was featured in the September issue of Vela e Motore 2010. That article could potentially have more information on the boat yard? [Grabau International]
It seems that the 58 Sparrow was in the charter fleet of PepeBoats in Ibiza for some time and maybe they can offer some information on its history? [PepeBoats]

Linea Rossa was a boat yard brand which originated in around 2004/05.

If I remember well they offered a smaller 50 model. I have some old adverts of them in that time from an old Italian mag.
Probably they made one or two builds. They where build in Southern part of the Adriatic, if I remember well near-about to Bari, as I contacted them for a boat in that time as a consultancy to a client.
I really like the idea of the near floating hard-top and I think it could be used on other traditional inspired looking similar yachts. With my client we discussed a similar style for an XL Marine 58 in that time.

Someone told me at the time, that the hull design came from the Pershing 54 from 1995-2004.
