So we are having a stern thruster fitted around end of jan , is it worth having a professional polish ready for the season or is it a waste of time .

I always found that a polish looked nice at first, then the shine would go off and I'd be left thinking I'd spent all that money for nothing.

For those not in the know.....Seastoke.....aka Marina Queen, is fitting a stern thruster as a jacuzzi source. As the boat never leaves its berth, a small oil boom will be deployed creating a safe area at the stern which hopefully will keep turds from entering the jacuzzi area.

the plan is that when Brucek emerges from his engine bay, swearing, crying, frustrated and poor (from buying the same part 7 times before going OEM), he will be able to relax sore muscles in the turd grinder....sorry...jacuzzi.

I think Seastoke should be congratulated on his support for his friend rather than ridiculed as boat manoeuvrability has nothing to do with it. Shame on you all for assuming the worse

'Thrusting, Turds. BruceK, Marina Queen' all mentioned in one reply
The above needs a seperate thread
Unfortunatley , I have to pop out for bog roll and other essential items
Maybe another time?!

It is a fact Brucek spends more time on my boat than his , first I thought it was my fun box then I thought it was my wife but no you should see how he looks at me. That’s why h has bought a yacht , HELLO SAILER.

It's not mine, it's the kids. I bought a RIB for myself. I'm still working out how to get it on the Mothership. Stepped hull is playing havoc. Hurley's dont work, My swinging davits are too light. Looks like I'll have to put my Simpsons on. And I have to keep an eye on you so i can pinch another beer from the fridge when you arent looking.

Yadda yadda yadda you failed to mention your boat is held together with Eezyouts instead of bolts.
