When I got my current boat 9 years ago, there a 20yr old liferaft, which had not been serviced for some years so contacted Suffolk Sailing to get it checked/serviced and they suggested we were present to see it being inflated. It inflated OK but most of the glued seams were lifting so it was binned. Suffolk Sailing are excellent, serviced child lifejacket recently which had been accidently inflated - they were the only local firm who had the correct size gas cylinder. I don't carry a liferaft now but if I need one then will hire one from Suffolk Sailing.
