Lidl kayak

2 seater & just one double ended paddle? Could be a death trap in an off-shore breeze, I don't see it turning very well, especially with just the one paddle, even with it split into 2 single blade paddles it may not be that manouverable. But OK as a basic play boat I guess.

That's not a kayak. It's a canoe.

Why do only us Canadians seem to be able to tell the difference?

I was a bit confused by "Ideal for paddling in protected offshore waters". It is basically a lilo with sides.

The Boss gets terrified in my Dragonfly kayak, this Lidl version would be funny - angles are rubbish and paddle probably awful quality, from experience you need all the power you can muster against strong sea breeze.

Currently choosing a paddle board, much more fun :). Think I'm going for this one, more movement than rigid board but good once I got the hang of it and easier to store onboard:

It used to be said, maybe in the days of "bathing machines", there was lots of ozone at the seaside and that it was Good For You...

It was then said (but I've no idea if it's any more true) that the so-called ozone was really the smell of rotting seaweed :)

This may well be a good board for the fair few ££it costs but do try 1st if you can (appreciate rather difficult judging by your & the boards location )as some of earlier isups were pretty awful (-frustrating think kids beach inflatable as opposed to a proper tender) The major brands recently seem to be getting the inflatables workable (yet more money still) but the blow up concept has a contradiction or 2 inbuilt in addition to your observations above - all just an observation but hope of some help - its a great sport at any level whatever the kit
