Yes. Mine arrived on Wednesday. Slightly different design this year, blue with a type of spiral design instead of plain colour. You will see what I mean when you see one.
 
Mine arrived, albeit after a long wait.

They had printing problems, but did return all emails very quickly and honestly!

All fine now!
 
I was assured that every licence applied for would be despatched to arrive before Jan 1.
I think I was talking to the same work experiance incumbent who designed the form, she phoned me back twice(something)to assure me that the form and my BSC had been received.

Think I might fire up New Years Day and approach either of my two local locks and see the reaction when I asked to be logged as unlicenaed. This also depends on the lock actually being manned.
Waiting for tommorows post with anticipation.
 
Licence arrived yesterday, and was fitted to the screen on the boat today.

A very pretty blue, hope it doesn't curl up like last years one!
 
I sent an email asking about BSC requirements for RYA club safety boats.

Got a reply saying they were exempt. Rang up and paid.

Got a reply saying I couldn't have licence as didn't provide proof of BSC, from the same person who confirmed exemption.
 
Just spoke to Reading about our non-arrived licence. They said there is a large backlog still to be processed (and ours is in it) but that because of this the enforcement officers (lock-keepers?) would be able to "use their discretion" during the first two weeks of January if we wished to navigate.

I did wonder as she didn't seem very confident when she was telling me but it was in direct answer to the question "so will we be legal if we navigate over the weekend?".

What would your "normal enforcement routine" be in this situation?

If you encounter him at 10am tomorrow after sitting in the hut all night watching everyone else have fun!

But if I see him in an hour or so it means he's not working so you are safe :D

Don't see anything wrong with that. After all, its only a warning document - lockie sends paperwork to Reading. Reading see that boatowner had paid up and send nice little letter of apology together with a bottle of "Something Palatable" by way of recompense for the embarrassment and delay while being 'booked' - yeah......ride on...... :D
 
As far as

- I am concerned, my registration runs from the 1st January regardless of when I pay. In the first year of the DD scheme I didn't receive my plates until sometime in January with a late January date.

I insisted that the plates should be redated - which they were; very pleasantly.

I haven't bothered to look up the by-laws on this point, anyway there as so many "rules" dreamt up by the Agency, it's not worth bothering.

Perhaps folk are taking heed of the TWA order changes - and quaking in their boots....
 
'Normal Routine' would be to issue an unregistered report .

Wouldn't want to take the risk of someone on high deciding i wasn't doing my job properly , with resulting consequences.

Spent last night with Richard ( not like that !! ) , a very good night was had by all ...

You missed the crashing of the teenagers party across the road Rich .....
