Libs , swift 30

So have u been libs and did u go on the swift 30 and what do u think of it

Nice boat. The only option for a second cabin is to lose the shower for some little bunks. There is a sofa bed in the saloon.
Bizarrely my little Antares has more accommodation crammed in.

The Sealine c330 is a very nice boat though

Liked the 44 and thought the 30 was quite well done until I went on the flybridge. Didn't like it at all.....helm seat uncomfortable and the backs to the bench seating were just too high and looked disproportionate.

Everything was very low, I thought so too.
The dealer said it was so they could get down the French canal network. There was in my opinion a lot of wasted space up there, and with no mast no chance of getting a dinghy up there

I haven't seen it in th flesh and initially I thought the Swift 30 looked good from the pics. But having only one dedicated sleeping cabin (bunks aside*) I'm wondering if its a bit emperor's new clothes? I think I'd be looking for a used Swift Trawler 34 instead.


* If the bunks are instead of a shower, is there a shower over sink in the heads?

I preferred the enclosed c330, in my opinion a much better laid out boat. I liked how you could enclose the boat without the use of covers and then open it up totally. The build quality of the Sealine seemed much better than the beneteau, but it is a more expensive boat.

There is a shower but it would be cramped. would be a great boat for a couple. A used 34 would probably be a better option for us with kids

its the opening of the stern what i liked does the 34 do that

No just normal transom door.

As you probably know there is a side access door from the helm also.

The stern does open up beautifully but the extended transom is an optional extra
