Re: LIBS - another thing
We used to visit the Earls Court show by coach with our club on preview day. This year the travelling time meant the coach was predicted to arrive later and was also planning to leave earlier, in order to arrive back at the club at the same time for the usual show trip dinner. The cost for the trip was higher than before and the time at the show significantly shorter, not a good deal IMO so we decided not to go. In the event it proved a wise decision as the coach broke down on the way, I believe they spent more time on the coach than at the show! I am well aware (so did not need to go to find out) of the trip from Poole to ExCel, I have customers nearby and make that trip often enough by car.
I am well aware the move will suit many from North and East of London especially, but for me as I said I will stick to SBS, as many of my local friends have said also.
My other comment was merely to illustrate the different interests of the organisers (maximum bums through the doors) versus the exhibitors (maximum number of potential buyers) - the two are not the same.
