I'm in the process of servicing my Lewmar Ocean Size 2 traveller and am trying to determine the best products for this. I'm starting with warm soapy water to get the initial dirt and salt out.
The track looks like it's made from aluminium so considering alu-protect.

Not sure if grease is needed in an of the moving parts as I'm concerned about this collecting dirt. For ball bearings I've seen some suggestions of using grease and others saying it stops the balls rolling properly. Would a clean and the reassemble be enough, or are there some recommended products for the job?

It depends what the ball bearings are made of. Plastic (eg torlon, delrin, etc) need no lube, steel bearings would probably benefit from lubricant, but perhaps contact Lewmar re which to use.

McLube One-Drop is the thing to use. I have Ocean 2 kit. Amazing stuff (one drop). Deffo not grease.
To break it down and reassemble, you will need the bit of kit (plastic track for ocean 2) otherwise you will lose all the balls and reassembly will be ‘difficult’
