Lewmar buy it from autoanchor in NZ who supply white label. That is an old model 150. The manual is downloadable for the current model here, http://autoanchor.co.nz/autoanchor-150, but with a bit of luck will might contain enough info for you to fix it. I think the old/new model differences are merely cosmetic. Good luck

thanks for that - I will give it a try, if set up programming is not quite the same I should be able to figure it out.

Try this:-
When a standard size Lewmar gypsy is being used the default setting of 33cm of chain per revolution should be correct. For other makes it may be necessary to recalibrate the chain counter. Having measured the amount of chain being deployed with each revolution, press 'Cal' for three seconds and C33 will be displayed (this being the default setting). Press 'Cal' to increase the setting number and 'Res' to decrease the number. Once the correct figure is set, wait for five seconds until the memory has stored the new setting and that's it!

I have the same chain counter, I think it's a 68000600 but the instructions are on the boat. Won't be down till next weekend but let me know if you want me to copy them for you.

re copying manual yes please, if its no trouble, I suspect there is a battery backed memory inside it as I have had all the boat batteries changed recently so its been completely powered down. I'm back at the boat in a few weeks so I will take it apart and discover its secrets.
