Hi All, I just spent a night in Leros marina. 42 euros for a 42 footer. How does Lakki marina compare to Leros marina? pros and cons. I had a scarey walk into the town.

Lakki, endless mopeds all night using the roundabout as a turning spot, we had sap from the trees on the boat, protection is so so, OK for a few nights.

Lakki Marina is really like a town quay in comparison to Evros Marina. It depends what you want.
For an Annual berth, Lakki is not right - Evros is. If you use marinas occasionally, then the deal offered of winter storage with the right to use the Lakki marina for 30 days a year is really good. If I was in Lakki for 3 days for instance I would infinitely prefer Lakki Marina which I used on the deal above. If I had no deal, I would probably use Lakki town quay - or anchor off.
As to noise of the boy racers - its really not that much of a problem - much worse in other Islands is the proliferation of late night full volume discos.
If there is going to be a big southerly storm, I would want to be in Evros.

The Missus was subjected to flasher on the walk into town in broad day light from Evros.
