I think here you would be lucky to get couple of grand for it, more likely about £500.

I am really surprise at the level of bids in the US.. Far better 'projects' go, or don't, for far less. It is a little boat, that has a slight history. Not much to bid on really.

Todays film reports that the winer of the E bay auction pulled out and he couldn't contact the next highest bidder but as he had promised the New York Charity £ 5,200 dollars he was going to honour that donation himself.

He is readvertising the Dinghy on Craiglist as " offers" in the hope that he can get as much of that back as possible.

I saw that. Sent him a few quid to help out, it seems like a good cause. Ebay seems full of chancers these days.
