Having not used it for a couple of years I now can't get it work. With new batteries the light is very dim. The switch is permanently on so is obviously a problem. In view of its many functions I am assuming that there is a PCB in the switch and that it is duff. It's not worth repairing unless someone has the same model with a duff LED but an OK switch.

I guess that small waterproof very bright LED torches have moved on since I bought this fairly expensive item.

Definitely give them a call. I had a duff one from Exposure which turned out to be 4 years old. Sent it in and they returned it working. I called to ask about charges etc. and they laughed. Some expensive things are worth the extra cost to support great businesses

Ditto the above. I had the same problem with it always glowing dimly and never truly switching off. They replaced mine FOC

I've just taken delivery of a torch made by HR. First impressions are very good -powerful, waterproof and various modes including SOS. Only cost about a tenner. A few years ago this would have cost many times this amount.

... Over a period of about 15 years

i wouldn’t have expected them to honour a warranty after 3-4 years. Hence my comment.
if they’d failed after 6 months then obviously they would have gone back from whence they came! :)
