i need advice regarding a dispute with a broker.
anyone know of a uk lawer who is familiar with marine law ?

for your armchair pundits.. my husband agreed a sale with a broker without my position or my agreement. the boat is in europe i was not, i am the legal sole owner. the broker is now threatening to take legal action for his % i have never heard from the broker for years till my husband re initiated contact to sell.
where do i stand ? i have informed the broker that i have taken the boat of the market and his listings and is not for sale.

The rat!!!!

If it was anyone other than your husband, there wouldn't be any problem. It would be a simple fraud and the broker would surely have no redress against you.

Your husband though and assuming you aren't legally separated .... how could he?? You aren't simply trying to get out of a deal that your husband struck, on a technicality, are you? But if he went entirely behind your back in attempting to sell your property, it sounds like a case for a divorce solicitor.
