There were two small Hovercraft blasting through Osbourne Bay this morning. So maybe you did see right.

Yes; they are doing local rides on a tarmac area on site where you can take control, a bigger grassed area on the Daedelus site, and there was a 'craft going across to IoW; tickets (I think) were £15 for the IoW trip. Certainly worth a couple of hours walking around (which we did today).

Must admit I did a quick double take (while trying to concentrate on the race in hand) - on balance I'm not sorry they are gone because they are so noisy but you can't complain about wash!
