Leaving Gothenburg for Norway - where to ?

Hi,
I’m currently in Gothenburg and looking to leave tomorrow (Weds 30th July) on an overnight passage for SE Norway with a good forecast in my Westerly Storm. Will then be heading up the Norwegian coast before hopping across to Peterhead for the end of August.

I was planning to head to Risor…. But any suggestions on good alternatives ? Any advantage to going further west to Kristiansand ?

I did this same trip once in an Albin Vega, but we went to Skagen first then straight across the Skaggerak to Kristiansand - which is lovely.

Yes we arrived safely in Risør this morning at 7am after a fast overnight sail. Quite busy in the harbour here but managed to get alongside without being rafted up. Mooching north up the coast tomorrow.
