Just to clarify - the policy is for a small yacht, a policy specifically for yachts under 7metres.

Not insured on a mooring or at anchor!

I leave mine sometimes but I have my anchor watching thingummy widget running. It monitors depth, windspeed, heading and lat/long, and if any go beyond a pre-set range it sends me a text with details. I can also at anytime send it a text and it will reply to me with info on what's going on. I can ask it to take a photo and send that back as well.

Grief! That's technogoly for you. What do you call it? Thingummy Widget isn't getting any hits on Google...
