Having looked at several books about weather, very little information seems to have sunk in. It occurs to me that tuition, one-to-one or in a small group, would be helpful. Does anyone know of such tuition, preferably over one or two days? I would prefer it to be midlands, south central, south west or south Wales based.

Simon Keeling who posts here runs this school

I have not been on the course but plan to. His books and the website generally are very good, with videos and a weekly email on weather forecasts. I think its important to follow weather patterns to get a better idea of how and when the weather develops.

No connection except as a satisfied reader.

I plan to do one of Simon's courses in October.

I'd certainly prefer to be out of the path of a forecasted hurricane than trying to weather it with a storm jib, no matter how good that storm jib is!
