Leaking Hatch - Fletcher 19 gts

I know this is a common problem on the Fletcher GTS and probably on other boats also. I have done several searches and cant seem to find the fix. I am fairly sure my leak is at the junction of the frame and the boat.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the frame or indeed a link to any info on how to fix this. I seem to remember that someone said there was a thread somewhere on this but after much searching cant seem to find it

2nd page - no registration required, but useful resource if you have Fletchers and require specialist help. Very quiet however so nothing like as broad a resource as YBW.

Its a common problem and an easy fix.

Its usually caused by over tightening the catch down which compresses the gasket and over time reduces its effectivness.

Easy fix, new gasket, 10 mins to fit, problem solved.

Just check the hinge isnt broken, any cracks and its new hatch time.

The hinge is fine and working well. Where would you buy a new gasket ?
