Weather not looking so enticing from a Shotley perspective (to add to tide all wrong) - S or SSE 5 gusting 7, and bleedin' nippy, according to the dear old Met Office!

mmm - we're planning to give it a go from Shotley (boys aboard not family though). If we can make it down the wallet we'll have a cracking sail back on Sunday.

Plan to take last hour of ebb out of the harbour then ride the tide down to colne bar - should just make it - if not we'll be in Kovalam!

If the wallet is really nasty we'll turn back and head somewhere girly...

I hope XC is right.

Wind guru is giving 20 to 25 knts southerly all weekend.
We will be giving it a go when it is wind with tide.
Punching it on Saturday running with it on Sunday.

Sadly the Saguday-ites ain't going to make it - and it looks like a great weekend weather wise so we're a bit p*ssed off about it.

Looks like I'll be editing videos all through the weekend (again) and I've got an important test shoot in Bristol on Monday which doesn't sit well with high tide at Tollesbury at something like 10PM on Sunday.

Drat.

Kids are off all week too, so may try and get down next weekend to tidy the boat up for winter but of course there's no laying up supper that weekend...

Sorry everyone, gutted to miss it, hope you all have a fair sail and a great night at Colne YV. Plenty of pics please
