Its easy, Just say something controversial & a fight will break out between forumites

Typical starters would be :-

" I reckon NickC should be reinstated"
Or " I am collecting for the SHT"
Or " RNLI is far better funded & run than French equivalent"
Or " The Belgians are right about red diesel"
Or" Anderson 22's are slow old dogs" ( sorry perhaps that is not considered controversial)"
Perhaps " Centaurs are crappy boats?" might work better

I am sure you could think of something

You would be better off offering to buy a round. The look of astonishment would identify anyone within 20 paces.
 
Sophie19, please be aware that I have been to one these do's................................ and they let me in................ yes I know I even sat down and they let me eat with 'em. I am still getting over the experience, not sure if they are???

I reckon the dog will get more attention than either you or SWMBO!!!
