Amazingly, its time to think about the East Coast Forum Laying Down Supper.
Doesn't time fly?
Well, this will be the fourth, and I hope this one will be at least as good as the others.
We have had the last one 'up north' in Shotley,
and also at the Green Man Bradwell,
and of course The Coast Inn West Mersea, so I thought we would bring it back to Burnham On Crouch.
We have eaten at the Swallowtail in Burnham Yacht Harbour twice this year, with the same results - excellent food, good service, and prices that wont need smelling salts to bring you round.
Casting around, I am suggesting Saturday 3rd October at 8pm
As usual, this is a family friendly dinner, and I have no doubt that we can get club rates for Burnham Yacht harbour, or swinging mooring if you wish. Also, for those unable to bring their boats, there is a decent train service to London, and loads of hotels or B&Bs in Burnham.
I will get the suggested menus online shortly
So may we start with some runners and riders please?
