Where can I get my sails washed. Are there DIY places?
I am in Kent so someone in that area would be good. Any ideas gratefully received.

Any sailmaker will get them done for you. Cost is based on weight and they will usually store them for you over the winter FOC.

Hi John. Have had good reports of Wilkinson Sails for sail tinkering and other canvas work - down in Conyer. But for your size ( and maybe antiqity, like mine) the bath might bbe good enough.

My sailrepairer in Woodbridge advised to wash in the bath in non-bio washing liquid. I then hauled them up a convenient tree, rinsing thoroughly with the hose as they went up and left to dry. Worked pretty well!
